Gladys Dormire
Gladys is a retired registered nurse who spent twenty-five years working in various areas of the health care field, including bedside nursing, administration, hospice care, and working as a nurse for the military. She has served in various areas of ministry here at Promise and looks forward to serving as a Christian Caregiver in the Stephen Ministry. Gladys was married to Robert for thirty-two years until his passing in 2013.
They were Charter members of Promise. Together they have six children, twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren with one on the way. Faith and family are her greatest priorities. She says, “With age comes this sense of urgency for Kingdom work, and the Kingdom is filled with hurting people.”
