Jean Milledge
Jean is a retired registered nurse. She worked much of her career in family practice and the last several years devoted to palliative/hospice care for those with life-limiting illnesses. She became interested in Stephen Ministry in 1976, one year after its inception and attended one of its early training sessions at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She also was active as a Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader at her prior church before coming to Promise. She has been married to her husband Bob for over 50 years, who is also a trained Stephen Minister/Leader. Together they have three children, ten grandchildren and one great grandson. At Promise, she is involved in coordination of Stephen Minister training and also writes the weekly Stephen Ministry articles for the Promise newsletter.
