HANGING OUT:
Make this week’s lesson real:
10 Ways to Share God’s Love
When God created man, he created him in his image. Use this week to also talk about how we are not perfect, but God gave us Jesus to pay for our mistakes and in the end we receive his grace. I had the kids make whatever animal they want, except they have to use a heart for a reason. We want to fill our hearts so full of God’s love and Jesus that it overflows into our lives and shows to those around us. – check out the above link for ideas for the whole family even during a pandemic.

AT DINNER:
Here are some discussion starters:

  • What happened on the first 5 days of creation?o (1: light, 2:skies and seas, 3:plants, 4:moon, sun, stars, 5: animals in sky and sea)
  • What did God create on day 6? (animals on land and man)
  • Who were the first people God created on day 6? (Adam and Eve)
  • Who should fill our hearts so full that it overflows for everyone to see? (Jesus)

AT BEDTIME:
Read this bible verse together: Genesis 1:26-27

Pray This
Dear God, Thank you for day 6, thank you for giving us your beautiful creations. Thank you for giving us Jesus so that we can share him with those around us. Amen
