Make this week’s lesson real:
We have reached the end of creation and on the last day all God did was rest and admire all that he had done. How can you and your family simply rest. Make a plan as a family to take a day and simply REST! If you need help with that check out our Run Hard Rest Well event on July 11th at Promise for more information. I have attended multiple sessions ask me any questions you may have.
AT DINNER:
Here are some discussion starters:
- What happened on the first 6 days of creation? (1:light 2:skiesandseas, 3:plants 4:moon,sun,stars 5:animalsinskyandsea 6:animalsonlandand man)
- What happened on day 7? (God rested and admired all that he had created)
- What happened on the day you were created? (You received God’s grace)
- What was your favorite day of creation?
AT BEDTIME:
Read this bible verse together: Genesis 2:2-3
Talk about how God rested on the 7th day and how he admired his entire creation and called it holy, that means everything he created was holy. How can we keep remembering this?

God, thank you for ALL of your creations, but especially thank you for creating us and giving us your grace and your son Jesus so that we will have eternal life! Amen
