Easter Sunday

He is risen!  He is risen indeed, alleluia!  Just as Jesus is risen from the grave on Easter morning, He is resurrecting you today.  Even though today is also April Fool’s Day this is no joke!  Jesus paid for every sin from the past, present, and future.  Rejoice!  Listen here as Pastor Graf explains further on how we no longer need to be “fools” or “dull” but can rejoice in the “Good News”.  It is finished!  To see the photo Pastor Graf is referring to in the beginning of this podcast click here.

You Need A Team

You have the Holy Spirit stirring in your heart, you have a clear vision, what else do you need? YOU NEED A TEAM!  This Sunday as we cover Exodus 3:16-22, “Go, assemble the elders…”. We will talk through the why and the how of assembling even the most unlikely of teams to successfully grow in faith and multiply disciples.

I’m With You

Moving along in our journey through Exodus we will cover Exodus 3:11-15.  It is in this passage that we read Moses asking a HUGE covenant question…”Who am I…?”.  It is easy to relate to Moses and his feelings of inadequacy.  God’s answer to Moses’ fear is the reassurance that He will be with Moses.  It is also here that we read God giving Himself a name.  Walk with us as we discuss our covenant relationship with “I Am” and the power this identity gives to us.

Are You Looking for a Burning Bush?

In the passage we cover this Sunday (Exodus 3:1-10), God speaks to Moses via the burning bush.  Most of us are pretty familiar with this story.  However, we will break it down and explore what it says that we really want from God and how what He gives us is so much better.  This Sunday we welcome guest speaker Dan Harrington.  Dan is our field worker from the Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne.

Just Deal With It!

Deal with it!  Have you ever heard this said to someone?  Well it appears to be great advice as we will hear in this Sunday’s sermon.  We will cover Exodus 2:15-22.  In this passage Moses is escaping to Midian.  We will uncover what issues Moses is escaping from and how he learned to “Just Deal With It!”

What is Your Tribe?

Tribes are social divisions of people who share common beliefs and social ties.  Pastor Bill Johnson talks about tribes in our world today as he walks us through Exodus 2:11-14.  In this scripture, we talk about Moses’ struggle with feeling that he belonged to a tribe of people.  We find there a places and people in which he felt he belonged and found later that he did not.  We all have that need to feel that we belong to a tribe of people who think, struggle, and believe like we do.  What do we do when we don’t find belonging in this world?  In short, where do we find our tribe?

Where Do I Belong?

Join us this Sunday as guest speaker, Mychal Thom, talks about how names give us a sense of belonging.  Mychal guides use along in our “Nameless” series, working through Exodus, by paralleling how Moses got his name with his own fascinating story about how he got his name.  He concludes with the one name he feels is his most important name of all.  You don’t want to miss this one!
